ABOUT SHRAIKOTI

The place (shraikoti) is located at hill top of panchyat dofda and kuhal in tehshil rampur bushahr distt. shimla Himachal pradesh india, place is famous for Mata Shailaputri ( Durga ) Hindu temple. this temple made from time of pandavas ( Click here About Pandava ) and in this temple husband and wife couple do not enter togather.

HOW TO REACH HERE
Best way to reach here by road self convince no direct bus facility operated by state government , if you came form other state or near places then get down at ISBT Rampur (HRTC-CLICK HERE-https://online.hrtchp.com/oprs-web/guest/home.do?h=1 ) after that here are two option to chose road to there, one is Rampur via -nogli-taklech-devthi -patena 12/20 where rest approx 40 TO 50km distance ( google map distance in km ) and second road gose to Rampur via pipti-racholi-dhargaura-dobi-maghara-dofda-mashnoo-dharn where rest approx 40 km distance.

GETTING AROUND
Around the temple there are many type of tree covered by forester area which enhance the beauty of the temple on the other hand rays of shining sun on the hills covered bring extra beauty and Narkanda Hatu Mata Temple , Kinnar Kailash Mahadev, Shrikhand Mahadev, 15/20 areas hill top beautiful view visible from the temple premises.

STAY
There is a proper night stay arrangement in temple rest house maintained by temple management and also one kilometer away from the temple has another rest house built during British rule period is very beautiful of ancient style .
